Kimberly Langdon, MD is a retired, board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist with 19-years of clinical experience. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, earning Honors in many rotations. She then completed her OB/GYN residency program at The Ohio State University Medical Center, earning first-place for her senior research project and placed in the 98th percentile on the national exam for OB/GYN residents in the U.S.
She specialized in gynecologic diseases such as menopause, hormone replacement therapy including bioidentical hormones, osteoporosis, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, menstrual disorders, vaginitis, infertility, contraception, pelvic pain, sexually transmitted infections, polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, and minimally-invasive surgeries. She is a national expert in vaginal infections.
After clinical practice, she founded a medical device company where she invented six patented medical devices for both life-threatening and non-life-threatening conditions. Her inventions are the first and only non-chemical cures for microbial infections and a novel model and method of use for menstrual cups.
Aaron Wiegmann, BS, FL, MD, MS is a general surgeon and scientist currently training to become a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He practices in Chicago, where he was born and raised. He has several peer-reviewed publications (mostly on surgical outcomes), has written book chapters, and presented at many national surgical conferences.
He earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Miami (FL). He subsequently earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He had also earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Research.
His surgical training has consisted of both high-powered academic and county hospitals, which enables him to understand the way modern medicine works from both ends of the spectrum. He has also had extensive trauma experience at one of the busiest trauma centers in Chicago.
He is passionate about sharing and translating medical knowledge regarding important topics with the general population. He prides himself in his ability to describe complex medical diagnoses or scenarios in ways that everyone can understand, which is an essential component of his bedside manner.
He takes care of any human who walks through his door regardless of status —may it be extremely wealthy patients or those who are homeless.
When he is not doctoring, he is usually outside hiking, camping, mountaineering, rock climbing, and the like. He loves to travel and has been exploring as many of the U.S. National Parks as he possibly can. Moreover, he had also hiked in National Parks in Costa Rica, Ireland, Mexico, and Sweden. He loves to stay physically fit, and keeping both a healthy body and mind is one of his highest priorities.
Abraham is a resident Family Physician, cannabis consultant, CBD author, and pioneer in advancing cannabis medical education. He is an alum and full-tuition merit scholar of the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Currently, he is doing Family Medicine residency training at Swedish Family Medicine — First Hill in Seattle, WA.
In 2016, Abraham started the Cannabis as Medicine Interest Group — the first of its kind at a US medical school. CANMIG provides GW doctors-in-training with expert teachings from renowned cannabis scientists and clinicians. After graduation, he moved to Colorado for a year and has since been medically reviewing and authoring CBD and cannabis articles with clients around the world.
Abraham loves to read and write about the latest in cannabis and CBD research. He enjoys sharing his expertise with colleagues and patients alike. He enjoys hiking, fishing, and camping with his wife and adventurous pug. They also enjoy visiting his family in Costa Rica and San Diego, and going snorkeling on the beach.
Dr. Erica Irish is a small animal veterinarian practicing in Central Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida for her DVM degree, Bachelors degree in Animal Sciences, and certificate in Public Health. She is a freelance writer and editor, and she also works for a teleadvice/teletriage service in her spare time. She has three dogs, six cats, a husband and a son.
Dr. Sara Ochoa is a small and exotic animal vet with many years of experience and is currently practicing in Texas. She went to Louisiana Tech for her undergrad school. During this time, she worked as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic, advanced to a veterinary assistant, and, eventually, became a veterinary technician.
Once she completed veterinary school, she moved to east Texas, where she works as a small animal veterinarian. She lives with her husband Greg and her babies Ruby, the Schnoodle, Monkey the tortoise, and Oliver James “OJ” the cat. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, baking, and quilting.
Osmara Vindel, MBA is the managing editor of CBD Clinicals. She’s a Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner and a Certified Yoga Teacher, specializing in Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, and Mantra Meditation.
